Alpha Beta School is a ""prepared environment"" for learning and academic excellence. Our facilities staff and curriculum provide students with all the resources needed to excel. Alpha Beta Education Centres helps expose children to a rich and varied teaching and learning environment which seeks to broaden their outlook; encourage the best examples of Christian morality and service to others; and to develop skills which will enable them to compete favourably at both local and international levels. As educators it is our duty to lay the moral social and intellectual foundation which will produce balanced morally upright and socially compassionate sons and daughters of Ghana who will be of service to their community and ultimately the nation.
Alpha Beta Education Centres was founded by Sammy and Florence Adjepong who relocated from the UK in 1986. The school began with six children ages two to three years under the carport of their home in Dansoman in September 1988 and so it was that the Alpha Beta Montessori Learning Centre took off. The success of the pre-school resulted in the setting up of the Kindergarten in 1991 which was followed by the start of the first phase of Alpha Beta Primary and Junior Secondary School in 1992. The school building now completed is the landmark edifice prominently situated on Dansoman High Street. In September 2004 the Alpha Beta Christian College building the Senior Secondary wing of the school was completed and school began with six students. The popularity of Alpha Beta due to its high academic standards and unique teaching and learning environment has resulted in a very high demand for admission into the school.
